Senior Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations & Support

• Provide L2 support for data centre and enterprise network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across LAN, WAN, and data centre environments
• Perform root cause analysis and permanent fix implementation
• Handle escalations from L1 support and coordinate with L3 teams/vendors

Data Centre Networking

• Support and maintain data centre networks, including:
• Core, distribution, and access layer switches
• Leaf-spine architectures
• Network segmentation (VLANs, VRFs)
• Manage cross-connects, patching, rack-and-stack activities, and DC migrations
• Support high availability and redundancy designs

Network Technologies

• Configure and support:
• Switching (VLANs, STP, LACP, VPC/MLAG)
• Routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP – as applicable)
• Firewalls and load balancers (operational support)
• Monitor and maintain network performance and capacity

Change & Incident Management

• Implement network changes following ITIL processes
• Participate in planned maintenance, upgrades, and migrations
• Respond to incidents, outages, and on-call support as required
• Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams

Security & Compliance

• Support network security best practices
• Assist with firewall rule reviews and access changes
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
