We’re partnering with a fast-scaling, global, product-led business that’s redefining its market through modern platforms and AI-driven innovation. They’re looking for a Software Engineering Manager / Team Lead to take ownership of a full stack domain, lead from the front, and help architect systems built to scale globally.

This isn’t a role where you just keep the lights on — you’ll shape architecture, influence product direction, and lead a team operating at real pace.

What You’ll Be Driving

• Technical Leadership at Scale
• Own the architecture for complex, business-critical platforms used at global scale. You’ll be involved in high-level system design, performance strategy, and long-term technical direction.
• Team Leadership & Growth
• Lead a high-performing squad of 6–8 front-end engineers, balancing hands-on technical input with coaching, mentoring, and building future leaders.
• End-to-End Delivery
• Guide products from concept and design through to production, ensuring scalability, resilience, and maintainability in fast-moving environments.
• Architectural Decision-Making
• Drive key decisions around component architecture, state management, frontend infrastructure, CI/CD, performance optimisation, and platform evolution.
• Innovation & AI Enablement
• Collaborate closely with product and data teams to integrate AI-driven capabilities into user-facing experiences — pushing the boundaries of what modern UIs can do.
• Engineering Excellence
• Set the bar for code quality, best practices, and modern front-end standards, fostering a culture where engineers care deeply about craft, impact, and outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience leading Software teams
• Strong hands-on engineering background, with the credibility to guide architectural discussions and unblock complex technical challenges.
• Experience operating in high-growth, fast-paced, scale-up or start-up-style environments where priorities evolve quickly.
• A genuine interest in system design, scalability, and performance, not just feature delivery.
