For our client, one of the Lithuanian Software House, we realize a recruitment process for C++ Developer.

Main Responsibilities:

Participating in the project within the defense sector.

Creating the communication component for selecting the data transmission path between lines.

Close collaboration with the project team and end-client.

Requirements:

min. 5 years of experience as C++ Developer.

Higher education level within Computer Science or related fields are preferred.

Expertise in modern C++ standard for Linux environment.

Strong background in developing low-level network solutions, such as packet processing, protocol handling, proxies, firewalls, or custom communication stacks.

Deep understanding of IP networking, including: - IPv4/IPv6 fundamentals - TCP, UDP, and ICMP behavior - Sockets API (POSIX or Boost.Asio) - Routing, NAT, MTU, fragmentation - Network performance considerations (latency, throughput, congestion).
