Project & Business Development Manager

The French HR group Synergie has 600 offices in 15 different countries. S&You is a division specializing in the recruitment, selection and direct search of executive and experienced profiles.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Project & Business Development Manager to join our client specializing in designing and delivering integrated communication & ICT systems.

The Project & Business Developement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Your main responsabilities :

Project Management

• Ensure the overall management of the project(s) to provide compliant deliveries on time and within allocated budget cost.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure projects are completed within the approved budget. Conduct risk assessments, develop contingency plans, and monitor risks throughout the project execution.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to understand their needs and drive satisfaction
• Provide detailed project status reports to stakeholders, tracking progress and addressing any issues.

Business Development

• Develop strategic partnerships and negotiate contracts, particularly for projects requiring high-tech on-board equipments in public transport.
• Drawing up commercial proposals tailored to customer needs, carrying out feasibility studies and market analyses to guide strategic decisions.

Your Profile :

• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in similar position(s) in a highly complex and normative environment (automotive, railway, aerospace, defense, nuclear).
• Fluency in Dutch & English, French is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
• Relevant experience in managing R&D projects for the industry over the complete product lifecycle; i.e. from development stage till commissioning.
• Demonstrated experience in market analysis and developing commercial strategies for complex technical solutions.
• Ability to negotiate and develop trusting relationships with external partners, particularly in the context of high-level technological projects.
• Hands-on experience in quality assurance applied to industry such as automotive, railway, aerospace, defense or nuclear.
