Back Engineer (NodeJS | Web3)

Location: Hybrid | Dubai, UAE

Experience: 3+ years in backend development, with Web3 and Solana expertise

Salary: $5,500 USD/month + meaningful equity

💻 The Role

As a Backend Engineer, you’ll design and develop the core infrastructure powering our DEX and trading bot platform. You’ll work closely with blockchain engineers and frontend developers to ensure our users get the best trading experience possible.

You’ll be:

• Building and optimizing backend services in Node.js for high performance and low latency.
• Integrating Solana smart contracts (on-chain programs) with our backend.
• Designing APIs for frontend interaction with Web3 programs.
• Handling account validation, transaction signing, and blockchain interactions securely.
• Working with our team to scale backend systems as our user base grows.

🎨 What You Bring

• Strong experience in Node.js and backend development.
• Knowledge of Web3 frameworks like ethers.js, Web3.js, or Anchor.
• Experience working with Solana programs, including program deployment and interaction.
• Familiarity with trading workflows (e.g., order books, swaps, liquidity pools).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, WebSocket protocols, and microservices architecture.
• An obsession with clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

✅ Must-Have Skills

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven experience integrating Solana smart contracts or working with other blockchains.
• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience with Anchor Framework for Solana program development.
• Knowledge of Solana wallets (e.g., Phantom, Solflare) and transaction signing workflows.
• Experience designing scalable backend architectures for real-time trading systems.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Previous experience working on a DEX or trading bot project.

📍 Location & Schedule

• Fully remote position within GMT+2 to GMT+6 timezones
• Regular overlap with Dubai office hours is required.
• Relocation to Dubai office encouraged (we provide relocation support).
