Scrum Master

Job Description:

As a Scrum Master, you are jointly responsible for the results that two teams achieve together. You function as a catalyst, team builder and coach and ensure a smooth working process. As a Scrum Master, you are characterized by your flexibility, which allows you to support the teams in the way they need. This includes coming up with creative solutions, improving the working method and strengthening the agile philosophy. In everything, the delivery of as much customer value as possible is central, whereby you always keep an eye on the well-being of the team members: you offer help where necessary, pick up signals and can share them positively and constructively.

This is what you will do as a Scrum Master :

• you guide two teams in their self-organizing capacity and also coach the team members if necessary

• you help the Product Owners to fulfill their role well, think of backlog and stakeholder management

• you help prevent progress from being hindered and help to come up with good solutions

• together with your fellow Scrum Masters and Release Train Engineer (RTE) you create a safe working environment, so that the teams work together and perform well

• you know better than anyone how to create an environment in which people dare to give each other feedback, dare to address each other and can compliment each other

You have:

• at least 3 years of coaching experience, for example as a Team Leader, Manager or Coach, and you feel strongly connected to the agile philosophy and continuous improvement

• the following certifications in your pocket, Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM-1), Agile Coach or a Lean certification

• experience with a development environment so that you understand what is involved in developing software

• experience with the Program Increment (PI) process within a rapidly changing environment, preferably gained in a SAFe environment

• experience within the pension sector (pre)
