Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Development and Operations:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes using DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Cybersecurity Implementation:
- Integrate robust security practices into cloud infrastructure and DevOps workflows.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to address risks.
- Monitor and mitigate cybersecurity threats, ensuring data protection through encryption and compliance with relevant standards.
Incident Response and Recovery:
- Lead incident response and recovery efforts for cloud infrastructure issues.
- Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud and cybersecurity solutions.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Strategic Planning and Innovation:
- Stay updated on emerging trends in cloud computing and cybersecurity.
- Contribute to strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation on cloud architectures, security frameworks, and operational procedures.
- Report on system performance, security incidents, and compliance to stakeholders.
About You
Experience and Skills:
- At least 7 years of experience with distributed software systems and cloud operations.
- Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability analysis, and secure infrastructure design.
- Proficiency in:
- Cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
- DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Kubernetes).
- Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- IAM and security tools (Keycloak, Vault, Trivy).
- Programming/scripting (Python, Bash).
- Linux system administration (Ubuntu, RedHat).
- Strong communication skills in English; additional language skills are an asset.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (OpenStack, VMWare).
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Programming in Go or Rust.
- Familiarity with TDD/BDD practices and ITIL processes.
