Senior Backend Developer

BLACKROC is currently looking for a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Kotlin. This is what you'll use on the day to day!

Working for an Australian-founded B2C product company, you'll be joining a remote-first engineering team who are passionate about delivering world-class user experiences through technology.

This role will have a backend focus, primarily working on Cloud native APIs and databases (PostgreSQL) although there'll be opportunities for you to get involved in UI development.

The ideal candidate would be comfortable owning projects end to end, as well as working closely with non-technical stakeholders in defining technical specs. Familiarity with event-driven architecture and working on highly performant applications would be a plus.
