Chief Technology Officer - SaaS

Private Equity backed SaaS organisation in the health sector are looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer to take this business through a period of high growth.

As a key member of the leadership team reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for taking the technical team and function through modernisation and preparing for significant growth over the coming years.

Responsibilities:

Developed and grow the current engineering team to ensure alignment with the business outcomes

Ensure that engineering, product and data teams are unified and relevant agile elements have been established

Strong collaboration with the product team to ensure both roadmaps are transparent and aligned

Optimised all infrastructure including full CI/CD, automated monitoring and ensuring that solution architecture allows new lines of revenue

Be a technical leader and act as a cultural carrier to effectively manage the change that comes with PE ownership

Candidates MUST have:

Experience in working in a hands-on small startup environment that scaled

Experience in working for a high-growth SaaS organisation

Experience in building, engaging, managing and retaining teams across all levels of technology (engineering, apps, database, project etc)

Experience in traffic environments with the rigour of servicing enterprise-level customers

Have a high level of technical competency and experience as a solution architect and worked with CISO to achieve enterprise-level compliance

Experience in best practice engineering agile processes in an evolving engineering process and methodologies to ensure high scalability

Strong knowledge in PHP, React, Aurora, AWS, iOS (Swift/ObjC), Android (Java or Kotlin)

Be a highly positive, upbeat technical leader who can inspire their own team and have the courage to be disliked

$240K- $250K + super

Location - anywhere in Australia domestic travel will be required
