Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a Medior Azure Cloud Engineer/DevOps to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. In this role, you will act as a Cloud Champion, ensuring cloud solutions are designed, deployed, and managed in alignment with best practices and the standards defined by our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE).

You will design and automate Azure environments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), collaborate with product teams, and support day-2 operations of cloud platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a mature and forward-thinking cloud environment.

What You Will Do

• Design Azure cloud solutions that follow CCoE guidelines and industry best practices
• Collaborate with product teams to understand cloud infrastructure needs
• Document cloud architectures, deployment processes, and operational procedures
• Build and automate infrastructure using Terraform (IaC) and manage code via Git
• Ensure scalable, secure, compliant deployments through automation
• Monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability
• Support day-2 operations and continuously optimize cloud solutions
• Serve as a bridge between product teams and the CCoE, ensuring governance is upheld
• Stay current with evolving Azure technologies and recommend enhancements

What We Are Looking For

Required

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and DevOps practices
• Strong proficiency with Terraform and IaC principles
• Understanding of infrastructure foundations: networking, compute, storage, security
• Experience working with Git
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation
• Basic understanding of cloud security and compliance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Knowledge of Azure monitoring and logging solutions
• Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., pharma) is a plus
