We are searching for an experienced DevOps engineer to join our project in the banking industry. This role is 80% in software engineering and 20% operations. More details will be shared once contacted.
Requirements:
- Relevant university degree (Computer Science/Engineering).
- 6 years of commercial software development experience using Unix and Windows
- 6 years of development experience in Python, with experience in Java and Pel an advantage
- Experience in Application containerisation (e.g. Openshift).
- Knowledge in CICD.
- Experience in Linux and Shell Scripting
- Solid knowledge of SQL, ideally with DB2 and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with GIT, Jira, Jenkins and BitBucket.
- Experience with Scrum preferred.
- Knowledge in Microservices, Kafka and/or AWS preferred.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and good presentation skills.
- Experience in finance industry such as stock broking or wholesale finance is preferred.
