Senior Director – Private Markets – Dublin Based Opportunity

My client, a global Fund Services firm, are looking to hire a Senior Director for their Private Markets Fund Accounting function.

This is a senior leadership role providing strategic and operational direction across Fund Accounting within the firms Private Markets division. Reporting to the Head of Operations (COO), the successful candidate will drive scalability, strengthen governance, and shape the future operating model of a growing business area. This position is a Controlled Function (CF) role under the Central Bank of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute business strategy in partnership with senior leadership
• Lead large operational teams, ensuring efficient and controlled processes
• Develop and optimise the operating model across Private Markets
• Strengthen internal controls, governance, and regulatory compliance
• Oversee client onboarding and high-level relationship management
• Drive change initiatives and cross-departmental collaboration
• Lead, coach, and develop managers and teams

Candidate Profile:

• 15+ years’ experience in fund/NAV operations with strong exposure to private markets and alternative fund structures
• Proven strategic and operational leadership at senior level
• Strong understanding of legal entity structures and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Track record in driving transformation and continuous improvement
