Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative and detailed design solutions that meet complex technical requirements while collaborating closely with other design disciplines.
  • Create sustainable CMF (Color, Material, Finish) concepts, working with suppliers and in-house trim and PaintShop teams to translate ideas into physical prototypes.
  • Focus extensively on pattern development in both 2D and 3D across various application areas.
  • Conduct thorough benchmarking and research, maintaining a fact-based approach to design.
  • Produce comprehensive CMF definition documents and oversee CMF releases in alignment with design gateways and property plans.
  • Prepare and deliver both physical and digital presentations, participating in weekly design reviews with stakeholders and project teams.
  • Represent CMF in project and engineering meetings for assigned projects.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively with R&D, project management, and marketing teams in China.
  • Contribute to the CMF community by taking on non-project tasks, participating in workshops, and helping to shape CMF strategies.
