IT Delivery Manager

PAYALLY
Latvia · Full-time · Mid-Senior

Summary

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on IT Delivery Manager who is ready to take ownership of our technology delivery function and grow into broader leadership responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the work—guiding architecture, improving engineering practices, strengthening security, and ensuring reliable, high-quality delivery across all IT and technology initiatives.

You will play a key role in shaping how our systems evolve, building and developing strong technical teams, and partnering across the business to accelerate outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to step into a high-impact role with clear progression paths as the company scales.

This is a critical role for someone who thrives in both leadership and execution, bringing technical depth, delivery discipline, and a security-first mindset to support the company’s growth.

The role will require travel to our office locations in the UK and Lithuania.

  • Ensure proper governance around data privacy, infrastructure, access control, and secure development practices.

Execution & Reporting

  • Provide clear, structured reporting to leadership on delivery progress, performance, risks, and improvements.
  • Define and maintain KPIs for engineering output, system reliability, product quality, and operational excellence.
  • Identify bottlenecks quickly and lead cross-functional efforts to resolve issues and improve delivery flow.
  • Promote continuous improvement across teams and processes.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and other business units to prioritise work and allocate resources effectively.

  • 7–10+ years in IT or engineering roles, with hands-on delivery responsibility and involvement in technical decision-making.
  • Proven track record of building, leading, and developing technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of modern engineering practices - cloud infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and scalable architectures.
  • Experience supporting or leading security and compliance programmes (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Demonstrated ability to identify delivery risks, remove blockers, and drive structured problem resolution.
