This role focuses on designing, building, and scaling internal platforms, shared services, and core architecture that enhance developer productivity, elevate system performance, and strengthen overall engineering efficiency. As part of the internal systems team, you will create reusable components, centralized services, and internal tools that help streamline workflows across the engineering organization. You will work across the full stack—backend services, frontend dashboards, microservices, and cloud environments—while shaping technical standards and driving platform evolution.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Platform & Architecture Development

  • Design and implement backend services, APIs, and shared components
  • Build internal platforms that support deployments, CI/CD, analytics, and developer workflows
  • Enhance performance, reliability, and security of internal systems

Full-Stack Development

  • Develop internal dashboards and UI tools using modern frontend frameworks
  • Build backend microservices based on the chosen technology stack
  • Manage development from design to deployment

Engineering Standards

  • Define coding and architecture best practices
  • Review code and mentor junior engineers
  • Optimize databases, caching, and system performance

Internal Collaboration

  • Work with SRE, product, QA, and DevOps teams to gather requirements
  • Build internal tools to streamline workflows and processes
  • Improve efficiency through automation and reusable frameworks

Problem-Solving & Innovation

  • Identify bottlenecks and design scalable solutions
  • Lead modernization and refactoring initiatives
  • Explore new technologies to enhance platform capabilities

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5-8+ years of strong full-stack development experience
  • Proficiency in frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and backend technologies (Node.js/Java/Python)
  • Good understanding of microservices, distributed systems, REST APIs, authentication, and caching
  • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases
  • Strong debugging and optimization skills
  • Background in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Ability to mentor others and maintain high engineering standards
  • Strong ownership, communication, and problem-solving mindset
  • Experience with internal platforms, CI/CD, or event-driven architecture is a plus
