Our client, who operates in the reinsurance and broader financial services industry, is looking for an expert to support them in the area of financial close operations and end-to-end process coordination.

This is a hands-on Financial Close Manager position, focused on planning, coordinating, and executing the end-to-end financial close process across a complex, multi-entity environment. The day-to-day work is operational, dealing with close execution, issue resolution, stakeholder management, and process improvements.

The company is undergoing a large migration from mainframe to modern cloud infrastructure and needs support to maintain business-as-usual close operations.

As a Financial Close Manager, you will provide expertise in the domain of financial closing, operational governance, and controlled reporting processes.

Setting:

As part of the team, you will be focused on delivering the best possible outcomes in closing execution, planning, and continuous process improvement across Finance, IT, and Operations.

Focus:

• Leading and coordinating the financial close calendar
• Managing cross-functional dependencies and driving issue resolution
• Ensuring compliance with close controls and governance standards
• Driving improvements to reduce manual effort and shorten operational timelines

Background:

To be successful in this role, prior experience in financial close operations, large financial institutions, SAP environments, and governed reporting processes is required.

Duration: This is an initial 12 - month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.
