Senior React / JVM Engineer - Freelance

My client in the public sector is searching for a Senior React + JVM Engineer for a long-term hybrid project based in Helsinki.

Tech Stack Requirements

• React
• JVM experience (Java / Kotlin, etc.)
• AWS

Skill Requirements

• Mobile or Desktop app development experience (e.g., Electron)
• Excellent communication skills (very important; heavily weighted in evaluation)
• Fluent Finnish & English

Experience Required

• 5+ years as a Senior or Lead Software Engineer
• Strong experience across React and JVM technologies
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders
• Based in Finland, preferably Helsinki region
• Able to work in a hybrid model

Contract Details

• Hours: Full-time
• Location: Hybrid, Helsinki area
• Start: Latest 19 January (can start earlier)
• Length: 12 months + extension
