Network Engineer

Our global tech client is looking for a Consulting Engineer to join their team. Consulting Engineer provides operational support for data center environments. This role is responsible for incident response, basic configuration tasks, and escalations to L3 when needed. The L2 engineer should be comfortable working in a production environment with change management practices.

Core Technical Skills:

• Experience in designing, deploying & supporting Networking and Data Center solutions
• Good understanding of networking protocols and technologies (VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, STP, VLANs, VPC, QoS, etc.)
• Good understanding of Data Center concepts, architectures and latest trends
• Familiarity with ACI fabric concepts (EPGs, Bridge Domains, Tenants)
• Basic troubleshooting and navigation in the APIC GUI
• Core Routing & Switching: • Working knowledge of OSPF, EIGRP, BGP (read-only or basic config)
• Experience with layer 2 and layer 3 switch configuration and verification
• Experience with ACI device provisioning and upgrades
• Experience with data formats (XML, JSON) and Automation tools (NSO, Postman, Insomnia)
