As a Development Engineer, you will join our R&D team composed of experienced software engineers following Scrum methodology and working hand-in-hand with Product Marketing team to build innovative and robust messaging solutions running on AWS cloud.

As a Development Engineer, you will join our R&D team composed of experienced software engineers following Scrum methodology and working hand-in-hand with Product Marketing team to build innovative and robust messaging solutions running on AWS cloud.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Participate to the definition and analysis of needs,
- Conceive efficient, scalable, reliable, and reusable code. Implement and promote best software engineering practices: design patterns, security by design, responsive design, TDD…
- Participate in the entire production life cycle of backend and frontend applications for our messaging business (full-stack PHP/Symfony using AWS serverless/managed services),
- Ensure the best performance, quality, cost efficiency possible of the applications,
- Share information with the rest of the team and provide solid technical documentation.
- 5 + years of professional experience in PHP (Symfony) and modern JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Genuine enthusiasm for front‑end engineering - UI polish, performance, accessibility - and a strong desire to keep learning in this area.
- Solid grasp of UI/UX fundamentals is a must; able to translate wireframes into production‑ready interfaces.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, security practices, networking, and design patterns.
- Fluent English for daily collaboration (both written and spoken).
- High energy, driven and a strong desire for success,
- Business-oriented with the ability to understand the value chain and business model of the customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Positive attitude, and ability to create enthusiasm and dedication among colleagues and customers,
- Integrity and courage to speak up when required, while keeping calm in demanding situations.
