Product Manager

As Product Manager Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS), you will play a key role in shaping the future of smart energy solutions for our customers. Your mission is to lead the integration of innovative energy management functionalities—such as smart charging—into our customer app, helping households use energy more intelligently, sustainably, and economically. You will act as the bridge between our internal teams (IT, digital), a selected third-party technology partner, and our customers, ensuring a seamless and value-driven solution that fits within our energy ecosystem.

• Lead the integration project of a third-party solution via APIs, ensuring a smooth collaboration between the energy supplier and the technology partner.
• Facilitate the partner selection process, including coordinating evaluations, and supporting the final decision-making.
• Negotiate and support contractual agreements with the selected partner, ensuring clear deliverables, responsibilities, and timelines. You will be the bridge between the selected partner and the development team: make sure we get the needed support, documentation, answers from the supplier to enable a smooth development
• Translate business goals into clear product requirements and user stories, outlining what functionalities and data should be available in the customer zone.
• Collaborate closely with IT, UX/UI, and Operations teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and proactively resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Represent the voice of the customer, ensuring the final solution delivers real value and is easy to use.
• Stay ahead of market trends in smart home energy management, EV charging, and flexibility services to inform future product development.
• Own the full P&L responsibility (including both OPEX and CAPEX) for the Home Energy Management product portfolio, ensuring that financial targets are met and taking proactive action when deviations occur.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A passion for innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric energy solutions.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a must.
• Strong understanding of API-based integrations and digital ecosystems. Prior experience in app integration is a plus.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Manager or Project Manager in the energy, mobility, or smart home sector.
• Experience with partner management, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
