Freelance Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (freelance) to lead strategic initiatives within its Risk domain.

These projects require strong project management capabilities combined with an affinity for technical aspects to ensure effective collaboration between business and IT teams.

Success in this position demands excellent coordination skills, proactive stakeholder engagement, and a solid understanding of financial and risk processes within the banking sector.

The consultant will be responsible for:

• Providing end-to-end project management, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline, while maintaining a holistic view of the project landscape;
• Coordinating cross-functional collaboration, acting as a connector between different business stakeholders and technical teams;
• Supporting project governance, including coordination meetings, SteerCo reporting, and alignment with Belfius project managers;
• Balancing technology enablement with business needs, ensuring readiness and prioritization of deliverables;
• Aligning with IT on architectural vision and technical design, ensuring coherence between business objectives and technical execution;
• Maintaining stakeholder engagement, fostering transparent communication and ensuring decisions are well-supported and broadly endorsed.

Experienced project manager in big transformation projects.

Affinity with Business & IT landscape architectures.

Fluent in Dutch / French.
