Compliance Project Manager

Our client is a prominent bank in Ajman looking to hire a Compliance Project Manager to join their team onsite for a 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration or any relevant education
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is a plus
• 10 years of experience in project management in the banking or financial services sector
• Led and managed compliance-related projects, including implementing and enhancing compliance systems and tools
• Knowledge of the bank’s regulatory reporting requirements, including the technical aspects of reporting, data submission, and auditing
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) to manage compliance projects that require flexibility and iterative development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior management, regulators, and cross-functional teams
• Ability to anticipate compliance risks and proactively develop solutions
• Willing to work/relocate in Ajman
• With 1 month notice period

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage compliance-related projects, including implementing and enhancing compliance systems and tool
• Define project scope, objectives, and timelines in collaboration with compliance stakeholder
• Coordinate resources, budgets, and schedules to deliver timely and cost-effective project
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, vendors, and compliance officers, to align on requirements and deliverable
• Oversee integration and testing of compliance systems with core banking platforms and other application
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
