Freelance Data Analyst

We are looking for a freelance Data Analyst to strengthen our Microsoft-Team at one of our clients in the banking & insurance industry!

YOUR JOB

In this role, you will play a key part in the data analysis and mapping activities that support a large-scale portfolio transition to new target systems. You will work closely with the data mapping team to ensure a smooth and high-quality data migration, with a strong focus on documentation, analysis, and implementation.

• Perform detailed data mapping across various structured and unstructured data sources, migrating from current systems to new target systems.
• Analyse existing data quality and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
• Define and implement mitigation plans to safeguard data quality throughout the migration process.
• Produce clear, thorough documentation to support all analysis and mapping activities.
• Support the definition and rollout of performance and quality indicators, ensuring adherence to data policies, standards, and governance requirements.
• Ensure project alignment with architecture and data principles, SLDC/PMO guidelines, and the organisation’s risk and compliance framework.
• Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders and teams across the organisation to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

YOUR SKILLS

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
• 3+ years of experience within life insurances
• Proficient in SQL
• Familiar with data migration, data governance and data mapping
• Fluent in English and French/Dutch
• Knowledge of AWS is a plus
