Lead JavaScript Developer (fullstack)

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack JavaScript Engineer to take ownership of managing our engineering backlog and technical debt while driving improvements across frontend, backend, and mobile development. The ideal candidate is someone who excels in identifying, prioritizing, and addressing tech debt while ensuring smooth progress in product delivery. You will work closely with product managers, designers, CTO and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions, while also managing ongoing improvements to the codebase. Main responsibilities:

• Lead a cross-functional JavaScript engineering team across frontend, backend, and mobile.
• Manage technical backlog and address technical debt.
• Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative culture.
• Collaborate with CTO, product, design, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery quality via code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Drive adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and practices.

Main requirements:

• 3–5+ years in a senior or lead engineering role.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js/NestJS, React Native.
• Experience in managing technical backlog and technical debt remediation.
• Solid system design and architecture experience.
• Proven mentorship and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. (nice to have)

Salary: from 3700 € to 6000 € (brutto)
