The Role

You’ll work alongside talented teams of Engineers, Product Managers and Designers turning big ideas into real-world, high-impact solutions. Every line of code you write will contribute to our bold technical vision, helping transform the way the world experiences property.

What The Role Is All About

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications across front-end, back-end, and cloud services
• Contribute to system architecture, design patterns, and technical decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product features
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code following REA’s engineering standards
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Participate in peer code reviews and knowledge sharing
  
  

What We’re Looking For

Hands-on experience with some of the following (or similar):

• Experience in software development using languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Scala or Kotlin
• Understanding of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and back-end services (Spring Boot, Express, Node.js)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across different technology domains
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including automated testing
• A mindset for continuous learning and improvement
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative team environment
• Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment
