Job Description

As a test engineer you will become an expert of the AVR architecture and its design, in addition to using our microcontrollers in various configurations. You will be responsible for maintaining our high-quality requirements in addition to securing high throughput in our production lines. You will collaborate daily with colleagues in Asia, Europe, and USA.

In Your Role You Will

  • Be involved in the full development cycle of new microcontroller products, from the architecture phase to mass production
  • Be the first person to work on our newest designs, not only designs that go to market but also purely engineering prototypes
  • Gain knowledge of test equipment used for mass production of our products
  • Work in a design simulation environment to develop and implement efficient test methodologies
  • Work as a part of a project team to make our products the most cost effective on the market
  • Build a professional network across global design centers and production facilities
  • Develop your own applications and systems to verify the functionality and design expectations of our products
  • Work in our lab to validate and characterize new products
  • Provide electrical characteristics for the datasheets used by our customers
  • Develop your data analysis skills evaluating large sets of production data and characterization data
  • Contribute as a core member of the MCU New Product Development Product Engineering team

Requirements/Qualifications

Preferred skills (one or several of):

  • Knowledge of electronic design
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Experience in embedded programming and use of microcontrollers
  • Hands on with assembly or C/C++/VBA
  • Experience with the Python scripting language
  • Good cooperative and analytical skills

Education

  • B.Sc., M.Sc. in either
    • Electronics (Analog or Digital design)
    • Cybernetics
    • Computer Science
    • Or other technical studies
  • English – both written and oral
Experience

Preferred 0-3 years relevant experience as:

  • SW programmer
  • Electronics engineering
  • Test engineering
  • IC design engineering
  • Or similar
