Job Description – Network & Hardware Administrator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network & Hardware Administrator to oversee the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of our network and infrastructure environment. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring presence 5 days a week at the Client’s Markham office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across both software and hardware domains and able to switch seamlessly between the two as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize the organization’s network and hardware infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment, servers, and related hardware.
• Support the integration of new hardware into the existing network environment.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and performance monitoring across network systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure availability, reliability, and security of network resources.
• Provide on-site operational support and respond to infrastructure issues promptly.

Required Experience

Candidates should have hands-on expertise across both network and infrastructure components. Experience should include:

Network & Infrastructure Skills

• Routing and switching
• Data center architectures
• SD-WAN technologies
• WAN accelerators and performance optimization

OEM & Technology Exposure

• Cisco, Arista, and Aruba switches and data center equipment
• Aruba wireless solutions
• SilverPeak SD-WAN
• Riverbed WAN accelerators

Education & Certifications

• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.
• Strong foundational knowledge in network administration and hardware operations.
