We are urgently seeking a Senior COBOL/.NET Application Developer with 8–10 years of experience to support and enhance enterprise applications. This role involves working with MicroFocus Visual COBOL running under IIS on Windows Server 2022, while collaborating across multiple tiers of the system—UI layers (VB.NET, C#.NET), middleware, and database tiers (Oracle and MS SQL Server).

MANDATORY SKILLS

• COBOL development using MICROFOCUS Visual COBOL in Visual Studio 2019/2022 on Windows Server 2022 under IIS
• Experience with MICROFOCUS Visual COBOL V7, V9, or higher (strongly preferred)
• Ability to access Oracle and MS SQL Server databases from within COBOL programs
• Ability to craft SQL queries and statements to support required system functionality
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field with 8 years of experience
• Minimum 10 years of directly related experience (no degree required)

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Visual Studio 2019 or newer (including strong debugging skills)
• IIS configuration and setup experience
• Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Microsoft C# .NET
• Application programming against RDBMS (Oracle and SQL Server)
• Strong SQL skills for Oracle databases
