You'll be a key member of a team that is fast-paced, independent, ambitious and proficient across the full tech stack!The Mobile Apps team you will be joining is a core part of our digital product and technology team at Kogan.com. Our team is fast-paced, independent, ambitious and have end to end ownership of the Kogan.com site, the Android native application, and Kogan Shopping Android native application.

What you'll do:

Architect, build and scale new features across our internal platforms that power every part of Kogan.com’s operations
Continuously improve backend databases and APIs to boost performance, reliability and scalability for thousands of customers, team members and suppliers
Work closely with our Business Analyst and stakeholders across logistics, engineering and other teams to turn business needs into smart, efficient technical solutions
Take ownership across the full development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, UAT and deployment, with code shipping to production frequently
Support a culture of engineering excellence by contributing to QA efforts, peer reviews and helping lift the technical bar across the team

What you'll need:

Technical Skills: Proven experience with C# .NET Framework, .NET (for Linux and Windows), MS SQL Server, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) and REST APIs
Version Control: Strong understanding of Git and version control best practices
Testing Proficiency: Solid experience with unit and integration testing to ensure reliability and maintainability
Cloud and Containerization: Familiarity with AWS and Docker is a strong advantage
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on building effective working relationships
Conscientiousness: Takes ownership and accountability for deliverables, monitors outcomes post-deployment, and proactively resolves issues or bugs
Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, with the flexibility and drive to adjust to shifting priorities
