Brightsmith are working with a global leader in electric mobility and energy solutions who are dedicated to advancing intelligent charging technologies across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific supporting thousands of charging and fleet facilities.
They are seeking a Product Manager who will work as part of a Global Product team to help shape solutions that meet market demands while aligning with the company long-term vision and strategy. In the position, the candidate will serve as a Product Owner for a full-stack development team building an innovative EV Fleet Charging platform with an emphasis on supporting public transit operators.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with engineers, designers, and technical leads to define, prioritize, and deliver new features for our backend systems, dashboard tools, and controller software
- Translate customer insights into product requirements through direct engagement with users, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Own the regional product roadmap, managing priorities, user stories, and the product backlog (Jira)
- Represent the North American perspective in global product discussions to ensure alignment and shared direction
- Facilitate and contribute to Agile ceremonies—stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Support marketing and sales teams in articulating product value and competitive advantages
- Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to inform future strategy and identify opportunities for differentiation
Qualifications:
- 3+ years as a Product Manager working across e-Mobility, energy or adjacent sectors
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience
- Previous experience as a Product Manager working with software development teams through discovery and delivery cycles
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical systems and translate complex concepts into actionable requirements
- A solid understanding of business and product strategy, ideally gained in a startup or fast-paced environment
- Independent, organized, and proactive working style
