The role

As a Backend Software Engineer focusing on Payment solutions, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver seamless payment experiences across our platform.
• Building secure, scalable, and highly reliable payment services, including payment gateways, transaction processing, and settlement flows.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that aligns with industry best practices and security standards for financial systems.
• Identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing payment workflows to improve speed, reliability, and overall user experience.
• Following version control standards and agile development methodologies to ensure stable, predictable, and well-versioned software releases.
  
  

Qualifications

• Relevant business degree; Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Fluency in English is a must
• Minimum 2 years of experience in backend software development
• Hands-on experience in Golang and Python
• Strong understanding of POS and other third-party integrations
• Designing and implementing secure software solutions
• Proficiency in databases and their concepts
• Knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners
