Our client, a leading Belgian consultancy firm, is seeking an experienced Freelance AI Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming projects focused on data-driven innovation and intelligent automation.

Role Overview

As a Freelance AI Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models and AI solutions for a variety of client engagements. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, software developers, and business teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and optimise machine learning and AI models.
• Integrate AI solutions into production systems and workflows.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements and ensure technical alignment.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in AI and data science.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of cloud AI services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English (Dutch or French is a bonus)
