We are looking for Senior Kotlin Engineer/Architect to join our team.
About The Project
You'll join an Insurtech company offering a cutting-edge platform that empowers property & casualty (P&C) insurers, reinsurers, and MGAs to make smarter pricing, rating, and underwriting decisions.
The platform leverages decision intelligence, predictive modeling, AI/ML, and analytics to turn fragmented or sparse data into actionable insights, reduce manual work, improve pricing accuracy, and accelerate underwriting workflows.

About The Project
You'll join an Insurtech company offering a cutting-edge platform that empowers property & casualty (P&C) insurers, reinsurers, and MGAs to make smarter pricing, rating, and underwriting decisions.
The platform leverages decision intelligence, predictive modeling, AI/ML, and analytics to turn fragmented or sparse data into actionable insights, reduce manual work, improve pricing accuracy, and accelerate underwriting workflows.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has strong experience with Kotlin in web-based environments (not Android)
- Is highly skilled with Spring Boot and/or Ktor (this is super important)
- Has solid experience with Hibernate and Spring frameworks
- Understands modern software architecture and can contribute to design discussions
- Has valid EU work authorization (ideally based in Poland)
- Is fluent in English - both spoken and written
- Build, enhance, and maintain core backend services using Kotlin (Spring Boot or Ktor)
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and data scientists to design scalable and reliable solutions
- Improve performance, stability, and maintainability of the platform
- Contribute ideas for architecture, design patterns, and tooling
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
