Data Analyst

Data Analyst required for this organisation that researches and builds predictive analytics for sports, using advanced techniques and technologies.

Role Description

Act as a specialist within the Research & Development team focusing on supporting analysis while providing general quantitative support to Data Scientists in their specialist area.

• Take an important role in development, and monitoring of an established data pipeline.
• Conduct or support experiments to identify new or improved features or models.
• Collaborate with researchers to analyze the output of complex machine learning algorithms, contributing to the development and interpretation of predictive models.

Skills & Experience

• The candidate must possess a high-level understanding of statistics and coding competency in Python & SQL
• Role is suited for an exceptional graduate or analyst with 1-2 years’ commercial experience
• University studies in a quantitative field that demonstrate your mathematical/statistical competency. Bachelors, MSc+ with a distinction average or very close to
• Strong analytical skills including knowledge of data analysis techniques.

• Exposure to a data visualization platform e.g. Superset, Looker Studio, Tableau.
• Exposure to R/bash/shell
