Senior Network Engineer

Job Purpose:

Qualification & Skills required

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, computer science or related field is the minimum requirements for this position

• Cisco Certification CCNA and CCNP, CCIE, CISSP

• ITIL certified

• Minimum 5 years in Network Administration role

Desirable:

• MBA

• Project Management (Waterfall and Agile) Certification

• ISO27001

• Cisco Certification such as CCIE and CISSP

• 2+ years' experience of managing Network and Secuirty Projects

Must have - Modules

• Solid understanding of all layers of the OSI model, LAN/WAN networks

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and subnetting.

• Hands-on experience with network hardware and software from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet.

• Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.

• Familiarity with network security principles, practices, and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Experience in enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
