IT Security Architect

I'm supporting a leading global pharmaceutical company in their search for an IT Security Architect to join their Business Applications department - the team driving digital transformation across the organisation.

This is a key position where you'll work at the intersection of security architecture, enterprise applications, and cloud transformation, ensuring the company's most critical systems are protected and compliant as they evolve their digital landscape.

• Continuously assess and manage the security and risk posture across a diverse enterprise application landscape.

• Partner with IT and business teams to design and deliver secure solutions across key platforms such as SAP, Veeva, and Kinaxis.

• Define and standardise authorisation concepts that support the company's IAM initiatives.

• Develop and implement integration security standards for APIs, data exchanges, and authentication mechanisms.

• Classify business applications based on criticality and align security controls to protect high-value processes.

• Collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, and architecture teams to build robust cloud and SaaS security models.
  
  

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• 5+ years of IT Security experience for enterprise applications (SAP).

• At least 2 years in a security architecture role.

• Knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF or SABSA and experience with business capability modelling.

• Hands-on expertise in IAM systems, authorisation models, and role concepts.

• Strong understanding of cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, hybrid).

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills in English (German a plus).

• A proactive and structured mindset with a genuine sense of responsibility.
