We are looking for a Java Backend Developer (Hybrid — Coimbra):
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
- Strong proficiency in Java and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate;
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle);
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, etc.);
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance;
- Good understanding of API design and REST best practices;
- Experience with API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman);
- Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems;
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.);
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and strong focus on Kubernetes orchestration;
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure;
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito;
- Fluency in English.
