What The Job Looks Like

Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

• Oversee the IT service portfolio for Research, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic priorities
• Manage and optimize budget, resources, and assets to support business objectives
• Define and communicate IT product scope, objectives, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain the IT product vision, goals, and roadmap
• Collaborate with IT Consultants and Process Owners to create and prioritize user stories.
• Validate IT product design and architecture with the IT Service Owner to meet business needs
• Review and approve deliverables, ensuring quality standards and acceptance criteria are met
• Provide ongoing feedback to project teams and stakeholders on progress, issues, and risks
  
  
  

What You'll Bring To The Table

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

• IT professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in international Pharma/Reseach IT
• Masters’ degree or equivalent experience in (business) computer science
• Strong background of processes and data in pharmaceutical research
• Solid knowledge of Pharma research IT solutions, challenges and trends within the industry (e.g. chemical registration & ELN, biology ELN, OMICS data management, NMR/LC/MS data mangement, toxicology data management, data visualization, search, analysis, reporting and workflows)
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English, German is a plus
• Proven skills in project & product management of large and complex projects and products
• Advanced process management skills combined with proven change management ability
• Open-minded personality, who wants to move things forward iin a team approach
• Strategic thinker, outstanding collaborator and convicing communicator, who always keeps business benefit and quality in mind
