Java Backend Developer

Must Have Skills:

• Proven hands-on experience in API Development using Java Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in Java programming, Spring Framework, and RESTful API design.
• Good understanding of Microservices architecture, including design, deployment, security, performance, and integration patterns.
• Proficiency in Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins/Bamboo, and code quality/testing tools like JUnit, SonarQube, and Test Automation frameworks.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for both client and server-side components.
• Solid experience with databases, Hibernate/JPA, and ability to write complex SQL queries.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices using Java Spring Boot.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security in API solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration activities.
• Troubleshoot issues across application and database layers.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best coding practices within the team.

Experience Required:

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Java backend development.
