Test Manager – Data Warehouse & Data Flows

📍 Location: Stockholm, Sweden (Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager with a strong background in data warehouses (DWH) and data flows. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on testing, ensuring high quality, traceability, and stability in data deliveries. You will drive structured testing practices, promote automation, and embed quality early in the development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate testing activities from planning to follow-up in a lean-agile environment.
• Ensure end-to-end quality and traceability across data flows, ETL/ELT pipelines, and reporting systems.
• Conduct hands-on data validation and quality assurance using SQL.
• Support and coach development teams in testing, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable testing frameworks and environments.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in test management or technical testing within data or DWH environments.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data lineage.
• Proficient in SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans or similar tools.
• Familiar with agile methodologies, PI planning, and multi-team dependencies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a structured, quality-focused approach.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial sector or regulatory reporting (FINREP, COREP, ECL).
• Background in DW development or technical testing.
• Experience with test automation, Python, dbt tests, or CI/CD flows.
• ISTQB certification and/or experience as Scrum Master.
