Head of SRE & DevOps Transformation - International Bank

Our client, an international financial institution, is transforming their IT operations and quality assurance capabilities across the Asia Pacific region. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead their DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) transformation initiatives.

Role

As the Head of DevOps & SRE Transformation, you will be at the forefront of modernizing our IT operations. You will collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to implement best practices in SRE and DevOps, ensuring quality, stability, and operational excellence throughout the delivery lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include driving automation, optimizing team capabilities, and enhancing system reliability through rigorous root cause analysis and automation.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership roles within large, complex financial services organizations in the Asia Pacific region. You should have a proven track record of implementing SRE and DevOps practices, improving platform quality and stability, and managing large, cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge of engineering best practices, CI/CD, observability, and automation frameworks is essential. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills are also required.
