The Position

As an Automation Developer , You will be focused, but not limited to, developing and maintaining solutions using scripting languages and robotic process automation in a customer centric way. As team member: You will work in a collaborative and agile environment, surrounded by other automation & data enthusiasts at the Roche Services and Solutions (RSS), building solutions for our Roche peers and ultimately impacting our patients. Your closest team members are mainly: automation business partners, business analysts, automation developers, product owners and people leaders. You will be part of the RSS Analytics and Automation - a global team with regional presence in Switzerland, India, Costa Rica, Hungary, Latvia and Malaysia. We operate in an agile organizational set-up without extensive hierarchical structure, where all our employees lead from every seat. The Opportunity

• Design, develop, test, and support automation solutions using RPA, scripting, Desktop Automation, and programming languages like VBS, Google AppScript, SAP Script, Python, etc
• Contribute to the achievement of annual and quarterly team objectives
• Embrace iterative work processes, minimal documentation, close business-IT collaboration, and global team communication
• Collaborate with Global Product Owners, developers, business analysts/partners, and platform teams to enhance cross-regional cooperation and reuse existing solutions
• Maintain automations in production as needed while addressing ongoing support requirements
• Participate in requirements gathering, design discussions, and workshops with clients to ensure optimal technical solutions
• Ensure compliance with security, scalability, quality, and performance standards, and engage in team retrospectives for continuous improvement
  
  

Who You Are

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a technical field, or equivalent experience in Automation is required
• At least 1 year of experience in developing solutions using UiPath or similar platforms, or programming languages such as JavaScript, Node.JS, .Net, VBA/VBS, Google App Script, SAP Scripting, or Python is required
• Experience in agile organizations and familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or XP is optional
• Familiarity with self-managed team environments and knowledge of OKRs is a plus
• Advanced English, and additional language skills are considered an asset
• Experience working in a Shared Service Center environment is beneficial
• Holding an Automation Development Certification or similar certification is a valued plus

Salary starts from 2200 EUR gross/monthly. Final salary depends on the successful candidate's level of experience, skills and qualifications.
