IT Infrastructure & Virtualization Administrator- VMware,Nutanix AHV,Oracle LVM

We have an urgent requirement for IT Infrastructure & Virtualization System Administrator- VMware, Nutanix AHV, and Oracle LVM is required for one of our banking client in Oman

Strong experience in banking domain is Must to apply for this role

Strong experience in Virtualization- VMware, Nutanix AHV, and Oracle LVM is Must to apply for this role

Strong experience in Physical Server Infrastructure Management-HPE Synergy, blade servers, and rack-mount server Must to apply for this role

Strong experience in Backup & Data Protection- Veeam Backup and Microfocus Tape Backup solutions is MUST

Strong experience in Windows Server and RHEL/Linux administration is MUST

Main Role (Overall Accountability)

Support IT Infrastructure and Virtualization Operating Systems (VMware, Nutanix AHV, Oracle LVM) in TEST environments and projects.
Provide IT Infrastructure technical support to the Testing Centre of Excellence (TCOE) team, handling calls and queries efficiently.

Physical Server Infrastructure:
Manage and administer physical server infrastructure including HPE Synergy enclosures, blade, and rack-mountable servers.
Handle server capacity planning, commissioning/decommissioning of hardware, and maintenance/troubleshooting with root cause analysis.
Coordinate with vendors for RMA (Return Material Authorization) processes.
Ensure proper server administration for various operating systems and storage systems.
Knowledge of Windows and RHEL operating systems.
Virtual Infrastructure:
Install, deploy, and manage virtualization operating systems (VMware, Nutanix AHV, Oracle LVM) on blade and rack servers.
Configure and administer virtual networks on standard and distributed switches.
Maintain application and service availability in virtual environments.
Manage clusters, resource pools, templates, and virtual machine deployments.
Perform P2V & V2V migrations as required.
Conduct VM resource capacity planning and maintain balanced server load.
Backup & Data Protection:
Manage virtual environment backups using Veeam Backup software and Microfocus Tape Backup software.
Ensure VM protection with scheduled backup jobs and recovery testing.
Proactively monitor, alert, and report using available virtualization management tools.
Audit, Security & Compliance:
Implement ISO standards, audit, and compliance controls proactively in systems and projects.
