We have recently partnered with a well-funded startup ($10M Series A) in the defi space who are building universal wallet infrastructure for crypto-native institutions!

They are currently looking for a Backend Engineer who will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable solutions to integrate August infrastructure with third party DeFi protocols on-chain, primarily in Python.



The role


You will be responsible for developing scalable backend solutions in Python, focusing on integrating both on-chain and off-chain components for managing digital assets. You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams to bridge blockchain technology with traditional financial systems as well as creating and managing data models and storage systems, primarily using PostgreSQL.



What you’ll need:


  • Minimum 3 years of backend development experience in Python
  • Experience working with both SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
  • Strong knowledge of Python, OOP, and microservices.
  • Familiarity with blockchain and finance systems


This role is hybrid in New York and they’ll see you in the office 2 days a week.


On offer is up to $170K plus equity and benefits.
