Technical Project Manager – IT Infrastructure & Information Security

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead complex IT Infrastructure & InfoSec initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and structured project delivery, working across networks, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT environments.

Notice Period: Max 30 Days

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Renewable)

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in technical project management, with a specific focus on IT infrastructure (networking, cloud, data centers) and information security projects.

· Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure disciplines, including networking, servers, storage, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), workplace/end user computing and cybersecurity concepts (e.g., firewalls, access management, threat detection).

· Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and/or PRINCE2.

· Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or other relevant certifications are highly preferred.

· Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, and collaboration tools.

Key Responsibilities

· Project Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure of infrastructure and infosec projects.

· Scope and Requirement Definition: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, working closely with engineers, security specialists, and stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and ensure clarity.

· Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation models. Monitor progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

· Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing robust contingency plans to minimize disruption and ensure project success.

· Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular, transparent status reports and updates to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management.

· Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams (including network engineers, system admins, security analysts, and vendors) to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of project objectives.

· Vendor Management: Manage third-party vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) for security tools and infrastructure services.

· Quality Assurance & Documentation: Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure all project documentation (e.g., technical designs, security configurations, operational procedures) is current and effective.

· Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-project reviews to analyze outcomes, capture lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement in project management and technical processes.

🎓 Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

• PMP / CSM or relevant certifications highly preferred
