API Automation Tester

We are seeking an experienced API Automation Tester to join us for a long-term project opportunity. If you have 7+ years experience in API Automation testing we would love to hear from you! Experience within the Banking industry is also highly regarded.

Experience And Skills Required

  • API Automation using REST ASSURED is a must
  • Web app automation using Selenium
  • Experience in API testing and use of tools like POSTMAN, Charles and BURP is good to have
  • 7+ years of experience in Automation Testing
  • Knowledge in one of the languages - Java/Kotlin/C#
  • Working experience of CI/CD using Bamboo, Jenkins or any equivalent tool
  • Code management tool like Git or any equivalent tool
  • Ability to work with a variety of databases and coding programs, such as, Java, HTML, as well as XML and JSON feeds.
  • Mobile Testing (iOS and Android) knowledge
  • Mobile app automation using Appium is good to have
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are a MUST.
  • Experience in test management tools such as JIRA, X-Ray
  • Online and Mobile Banking Experience is preferred
  • Proven experience writing test plans, test strategies, test cases, test reporting
  • Cucumber / Gherkins is an added advantage
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with the business
  • Growth mindset and not afraid of a challenge
  • Must be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders and vendor partners, both on and offshore
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence
