Data Analyst

Initial 12-month rolling daily-rate contract available for a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst. Open to candidates based in Sydney only. Australian Citizenship is required for this role.

Our client is a large organisation in the health & insurance industry. They are looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Analyst for one of their data product teams.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Data extraction, manipulation and analysis using SAS, SQL/Teradata, Python
• Developing reports and dashboards to help understand business problems and work towards generating actionable insights
• Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholder groups and be involved in requirements gathering and wireframing alongside business analysts and BI developers

About you:

• 1-2 yrs experience as a Business Intelligence/Data Analyst (or completion of a Data-related graduate program)
• Reporting/visualisation experience with Power BI, Tableau or equivalent required
• Experience with Salesforce CRM Analytics or SAS Visual Analytics highly desirable
• Experience with SAS, SQL/Teradata, SAS Viya highly desirable
• Experience with SAS Visual Investigator for fraud projects highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in teams.

Salary Guidance $425-450/day incl. super (some flex depending on experience)
