Job Description

As a Product Designer at Evergen, you’ll join our in-house design team with a focus on creating clean, accessible, and intuitive interfaces that bring clarity to complexity. You’ll help guide both the Product and Front End teams, ensuring design decisions are consistent, user-focused, and aligned with our goals. You’ll play a key role in shaping and championing our design culture, embedding design thinking, collaboration, and attention to detail across the organisation. Working closely with engineers, product managers, and fellow designers, you’ll craft experiences that are both delightful and functional, shaping how users interact with Evergen’s products every day.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of design experience, including 1+ years in product design.
  • Strong UX/UI skills, with expertise in visual design, layout, typography, information architecture, and user-centered design principles.
  • Proficient in Figma, with experience designing, prototyping, and working with or building design systems.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), usability best practices, and the full design lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to balance user needs with business goals to deliver practical, effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, comfortable guiding product and front-end teams and working in fast-paced, Agile environments.
  • Experienced creating process flows, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and other product deliverables.
  • Comfortable conducting user research, usability testing, and iterating based on feedback.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to clearly explain design decisions.
  • Experience with user analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics) to inform design decisions.
  • Experience conducting advanced user research, ethnographic studies, or A/B testing.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, design sprints, or co-creation sessions with stakeholders.
