The Role

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Android Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin (API level 33+).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
  • Utilise Google Firebase for crash reporting, analytics, and user engagement insights.
  • Manage code using git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and release management.
  • Stay up to date with emerging mobile technologies and best practices.

Key Skills

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience developing Android applications using Kotlin (API level 33+).
  • Proficiency with Google Firebase Crashlytics and related reporting tools.
  • Solid understanding of Android platform-specific features and best practices.
  • Proven experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Hands-on experience with git and version control platforms such as GitHub.
