Python Developer
Location: Liège, WLG
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Integrate data storage solutions (e.g., relational databases, NoSQL, key-value stores).
- Work with the DevOps team to deploy and monitor applications.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
+Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Python Developer or in a similar role.
+Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks like Django or Flask.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) are a plus.
+Professional Skills:
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
+Languages:
- Fluent in English and French. Knowledge of Dutch or German is a plus.
